Howwesellyourproperty
Selling? We always start with a no-obligation walk-through – and have long experience with every type of property.
The sales process, step by step
- 01
Viewing your home
Before you decide, we always walk through your property without obligation – your wishes, your needs, and advice that improves your particular sale.
- 02
Preparation
We gather everything from the municipality and land register, book the surveyor and photographer, and write the prospectus you approve before the property goes live.
- 03
Survey & photography
External professionals we book on your behalf. We have an agreement with our own photographer, with packages to suit.
- 04
Marketing
FINN.no, our own website, targeted ads on Facebook and Instagram – and newspapers if you wish.
- 05
Viewings
Open viewings suited to the property, and flexible private viewings. This is where we see who is interested – and follow up.
- 06
Bidding
Close dialogue with bidders and advice to you along the way. Availability is everything – both parties should be satisfied.
- 07
Contract
Contract and acceptance letter are sent in advance. Signing at our office, on video or with e-signature.
- 08
Settlement & handover
We attend the handover when we can, and handle deed registration, loan redemption, mortgage deletion and payment to you.

New builds and commercial: an offer tailored to the project, together with the seller or developer.
Commission varies with the sale price and market conditions. A concrete offer is given once we have seen the property and assessed the work involved. It is calculated from the sale price and is due on sale.
You are free to choose between a fixed and a percentage commission – we explain both at the viewing.
Marketing includes FINN.no, our own website, digital ad packages and the sales prospectus – and can be tailored to your wishes.
External costs (land register, municipal information, security bond, registered declarations) are added at current rates.
Seller's insurance is optional: 3.3–5.35 per mille of the sale price, depending on the property.
Example based on our price list. A concrete offer follows the viewing – and you choose between fixed and percentage commission. External costs are added.

Seller's insurance
Relax – even after the sale.
Under the Norwegian Property Sale Act, the seller is liable for significant hidden defects for five years after the sale. Even if you know the home well and have disclosed everything, defects can appear that justify a price reduction or compensation.
With seller's insurance, the insurer handles the whole process – and any bill. We offer insurance through Söderberg & Partners and help you order it before the home goes on the market.

Cabins and plots
Your cabin deserves the same care.
We have long experience selling leisure properties across the region, and also help with planning and sale of new-build projects and plots.
